CompressX 1.5: New Auto Compress Feature & Real-Time Progress Display For GIF

Monitor folder for automatic compression

Starting from version 1.5, you can add a monitored folder to compress new file automatically.

To get started, open the Settings window and choose the Monitoring tab

Then add the folder you want to monitor

You can customise the settings to suit your needs

Whenever a new file is added to the folder, CompressX will automatically compress it

Real-time progress display for GIF

You can now see real-time progress when converting a video to a GIF, making the process more transparent and efficient

Deeplink improvement

Deeplinking now supports additional parameters such as quality, video format, and the ability to remove audio. This will give you more control over how you customize your media files. For more information about using deeplink with CompressX, feel free to check it out here

Some fixes were also made in this update, including ensuring that converted GIFs from videos have the correct dimensions, audio is synced when trimming a video, and compression no longer gets stuck with MKV file format. An issue causing crashes when selecting a video on some devices is also resolved

To update the app, go to CompressX → Check for updates... or click Check for Updates in the Settings window.
